I will share my journey as I learn and experience various aspects personal finance, investing and other related topics on this site.
I enjoy investing in company stocks and a major part of my blog will revolve around my journey as a dividend growth investor. Part of investing also includes other aspects of your life that involve finances. I entered the stock market when I was 24 through mutual funds. I started investing in stocks myself after learning and getting a feel of good & bad investments. My goal is to build an income generating portfolio through a dividend growth investment strategy over the long term. I will be regularly posting about stocks I own, stocks I like to own and stocks I wouldn't want to own along with the progress I make towards my long term goal on this site.
I guess I am an example of globalization in action. I'm originally from India but I grew up in Saudi Arabia and went back to India to complete my higher studies. After completing my masters, I worked for a corporation in Bangalore with international offices and after two years, they transferred me to their New York office. Since then, I've worked in New York, Florida, Connecticut until I changed employers. I'm now based in Texas.
